Fire in storage shed spreads, damages two homes on northwest side of town, SAFD says

The damages are estimated to be around $20,000.

SAN ANTONIO — A fire in a storage shed on the northwest side of town heavily damages the homes on either side of it early Monday morning, according to officials.

San Antonio firefighters responded to the 1800 block of Candlelight Lane around 12:10 a.m. for reports of a fire.

According to the battalion chief, the fire began in a storage shed between the homes causing damage to the roofs of the adjacent homes. The shed was a total loss, but luckily nobody was injured.

The damages are estimated to be around $20,000.
