Man in critical condition following shooting on IH-35, police say

SAPD officers say when they arrived on scene, they found the driver with multiple gunshot wounds seeking help from other drivers on the highway.

SAN ANTONIO — According to SAPD, officers were dispatched for a major accident on the upper level of IH 35 North, southbound Saturday night.

When officers arrived on scene, they say a White Hyundai Sedan had collided with the concrete barrier. The vehicle also had multiple gunshots to the passenger rear door.

The victim, a 19-year-old male, was shot multiple times and was seeking help from other drivers on the highway.

EMS transported the man to a local hospital in critical condition, according to police.
