LOOK: Spurs' Victor Wembanyama debuts his player-exclusive 'Alien' sneakers

Wemby designed the alien logo for his new kicks.

SAN ANTONIO β€” Not only is NBA All-Star Weekend a celebration of the players and fans filled with significant events on the court, but it also presents a chance for players to debut their new sneakers.

And that's exactly what San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama did during the Rising Stars Game practice session.

Wemby showed off his signature Nike sneakers, appropriately named "Alien," complete with a classic alien face designed by the rookie phenom.

The sneakers are a Nike GT Hustle 2 Player Exclusive (meaning it will likely not be for the public) with a green and black colorway. The design features an outer space look with the alien face on the back heel of the sneaker. The Nike Swoosh is in metallic silver.

Wembanyama broke into his new sneakers at practice, getting warmed up around the rim.

He's hoping this won't be the last time he appears at the Rising Stars Game, but is also eyeing a loftier goal: being named to the West All-Star squad in the years to come.

"I'm looking forward to play in the game, two games hopefully. Next year, hopefully, the big game," he said.

Wembanyama (Team Gasol) and Jeremy Sochan (Team Rose) will go head-to-head at the Rising Stars Game on Friday at 8 p.m. CT on TNT.
