SAN ANTONIO — The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department is inviting you to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view the 2024 total solar eclipse in Kerrville.

The Kerrville Eclipse Festival will take place in Louise Hays Park - just a few miles from the center line of totality, on Monday, April 8. The free event will include scientific speakers, live music, and four minutes and 25 seconds of totality.

Space in the event area cannot be reserved and you will not need a ticket to enter, but you do need to know where to park.

Off-site paid event parking will be available at Tivy High School for $60 per vehicle. Registration for off-site parking at the school will open Feb 27. If you wish to reserve a spot click here. On March 11, the parking spots will increase to $100 per vehicle so visitors are encouraged to secure their spots as soon as possible. These parking passes will not be sold on the day of the event.
