Driver in critical condition following single vehicle accident along Bandera Road

A 56-year-old driver speeding along the northbound lanes reportedly lost control of their vehicle.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police say a 56-year-old male driver is in critical condition after a single vehicle accident that happened along the 7600 block of Bandera Road on the northwest side Sunday afternoon.

A SAPD spokesperson said witnesses observed a driver speeding along the northbound lanes when they lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle reportedly went over a guard-rail and rolled over multiple times.

EMS arrived on scene and the driver was transported to University Hospital in critical condition.
