The San Antonio Zoo is announcing an extraordinary moment in the world of politics on Monday as everyone's favorite hippo Timothy announces he's running for office!

The announcement is expected to be made during a press conference on Presidents’ Day, February 19, at 10:00 a.m. in Africa Live!

"This groundbreaking event will mark Timothy's run for the presidency and the launch of his exclusive presidential merchandise line," said the San Antonio Zoo.

There will be campaign t-shirts, magnets, keychains, tumblers, and yard signs, both at the zoo and available online

All of the proceeds from these sales will contribute to vital animal conservation efforts, aligning with Timothy's dedication to protecting wildlife.

The Zoo Crew will also be handing out limited edition Timothy for President Bumper Stickers to everyone at the press conference. 

And remember, Bexar County Residents can enjoy $8 admission for Locals Day. Join #TeamTimothy on this special Presidents’ Day and contribute to realizing his dream of becoming HOTUS (Hippo of the United States).
