SAPD looking for man who allegedly threatened driver with hatchet in Walmart lot

The incident happened on the evening of Dec. 7.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are trying to identify a man who allegedly waved a hatchet at customers outside a northwest-side Walmart in December.

According to a post on the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) Facebook page, a car with two occupants was trying to pull into a parking spot at the store near De Zavala and Interstate 10 when it "had to stop abruptly to keep from hitting the cart the suspect was pushing." The occupants of the vehicle got out and all three began to argue before the unidentified man "pulled a hatched from his backpack and threatened to assault them with it."
