KIRBY, Texas — A self-proclaimed activist who watches police officers to make sure they’re following the law has found himself on the other side of it.
Jack Miller, who goes by ‘Texas Sheepdog’ online, was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography.
The 51-year-old has 62,600 subscribers on YouTube. Miller records interactions with police and shares videos of other people taunting law enforcement on the job.
In March, officers came to him.
According to arrest documents, the Kirby Police Department and Texas Rangers Special Response Team took Miller into custody at his home in the 4800 block of Dick Gordon. Authorities say he was wanted for Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Trespass and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon.
Kirby police officers also executed a search warrant.
In May, investigators say they did a forensic analysis of Miller's computer and found child pornography. The arrest affidavit states officers uncovered six images involving children. A particularly graphic image allegedly depicts a man sexually abusing a 5 to 7-year-old girl. Documents claim another image involved a child under 18 being harmed in a sexual act of sadism.
The Texas Sheepdog remains behind bars on a new charge of Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography Under the Age of 10 years old, which is a second-degree felony.
