PACfest is the largest Fiesta event south of Highway 90 and provides plenty of entertainment for all ages, according to their website.

SAN ANTONIO — The party gets going at PACfest Thursday afternoon, an official Fiesta event at Palo Alto College on the Thursday before Battle of Flowers Parade.

PACfest is the largest Fiesta event south of Highway 90 that became an official event back in 2003 providing plenty of entertainment for all ages, according to their website.

This fun-filled event features a stage with musical performers, children's activities, social media alley and of course food booths with all the Fiesta classics. This includes the chicken on a stick, turkey legs, corn in a cup and more, their website says.

The college says PACfest is the number one organization fundraiser on campus as many of the vendors are set up by students.

Tickets for the events cost $10 and only $5 for military, adults over 55, and first responders. There will be free admission for children 12 and under in addition to those students with an Alamo Colleges ID.

The event takes place from noon to 11 p.m. and parking is free. Only cash is accepted according to their website.
