Massive 'Dino-ritto' from downtown food truck creating social buzz over colossal size | Neighborhood Eats

Bussin' Q's is popularly known for their bone-in dino short rib wrapped in a tortilla with macaroni and barbeque sauce.

SAN ANTONIO — Do you have $45 handy?

That’s how much money it will cost you to eat a certain burrito at a downtown food truck. The two pound wrap which is stuffed with a single beef rib and macaroni may cost you a pretty penny, but after trying it we now get why it’s worth every cent.

This week, Neighborhood Eats is checking out Bussin' Q.

"We had a food truck a couple of years ago, and it was a smashburger truck. Then we noticed everyone loves barbeque so we changed (the food truck) to barbeque and it's a hit," said Anthony Bueno, owner.

And it hits the spot, especially when it comes to curing hunger pangs.

The menu consists of items such as prime brisket, burgers, breakfast burritos and beef short ribs. Bussin' Q's claim to fame is the Dino-ritto, a bone-in dino short rib wrapped in a tortilla with macaroni and tangy barbeque sauce.

Several Instagram influencers have taken on the challenge of eating the massive burrito, which has created viral buzz online with one reel gaining 2.3 million views.

"They want to pull that bone out! They get that bone and it should come right out," said Bueno.

One Dino-ritto is $45, according to their menu on Yelp. For a few extra dollars, you can order the so-called Stoner-itto which includes waffle fries and a toasted cheddar cheese crust to seal the swaddled up beef rib.

Another popular menu item is the Brisket Grilled Cheese. This is made up of Texas toast, mozzarella cheese, American cheese, prime brisket and barbeque sauce.

“I think they just love that comfortable grilled cheese that they are used to and grew up with. It's just cheesy, you have that cheese pull,” said Bueno.

And if that isn’t great – try a G.O.A.T Smash (Greatest of All Time Smash). This burger is on a potato roll with a smash patty, bacon, melted goat cheese, arugula and mayo. Our reporter highly recommends this one!

For a limited time, Fiesta-inspired brisket elote is on the menu. It has jalapeno cream cheese drenched corn with cotija cheese, queso fresco, avocado, cilantro and lime.

Bussin' Q Food Truck can be found at El Camino SA, which is located at 1009 Avenue B.
