Daughter of retired police sergeant sentenced to life behind bars
Vanessa Cameron was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. Authorities say she hired a couple to kill her child's father, Samuel Johnson Jr., and dumped his body in a cemetery back in 2010. Her motive was his $750,000 life insurance policy. Cameron was previously convicted and sentenced to 70 years but a trial error overturned the conviction in 2012.
