SAN ANTONIO — It's time to catch up on some San Antonio Spurs news you might have missed.

VICTOR CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama dressed up as Santa Claus along with elf Julian Champagnie to bring holiday cheer to San Antonio's west side.

As part of the Spurs' annual partnership with the Elf Louise Christmas Project, Wembanyama played the role of Santa Claus to deliver Christmas presents and Spurs tickets to children and families in need on Thursday evening. Elf Champagnie pitched in with the door-to-door gift deliveries to families.

SPURS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

The Spurs announced the team signed guard David Duke Jr. to a two-way contract. Per team policy, the terms of the contract were not announced. In a corresponding roster move, the Spurs have waived guard Sir’Jabari Rice.

Duke Jr. recently played for the G League's Delaware Blue Coats and averaged 21.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 31.5 minutes. 

AUSTIN SPURS SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER

The Austin Spurs, San Antonio's G League affiliate, got into the Christmas spirit in Austin's community through community-centered activations and player appearances as part of the G League’s annual “Season of Giving."

VOTE THE SPURS TO THE NBA ALL-STAR GAME 2024

Here's your chance to vote all the Spurs into the 2024 NBA All-Star West squad.

NBA All-Star Voting will tip off on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7 a.m. ET and conclude Jan. 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET, giving fans the opportunity to vote for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game starters via the NBA App and NBA.com.

Fans will account for 50% of the vote and will have six days where their vote will count three times on special “3-for-1 Days,” with the first day taking place on Christmas Day, the NBA announced.
