Spurs' Keldon Johnson, Blake Wesley helping San Antonio families this Thanksgiving holiday

The Spurs players are getting into the holiday spirit.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs' Keldon Johnson and teammate Blake Wesley are making sure San Antonio families are ready for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The pair of Spurs are presenting the first Turkey Drive on November 21st from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with the goal of collecting turkeys for families in need.

The event is open to all ages and there will be live DJs to provide musical entertainment and more.

This will be a perfect time for Silver and Black fans to not only help their fellow San Antonians this Thanksgiving but also a chance to meet the Spurs tandem.

The Spurs are also getting into the holiday spirit. The Spurs Season of Giving efforts for this year will encompass several events taking place throughout the community.

The Spurs players and the SS&E organization will serve Thanksgiving dinner to families, donate shoes for children, hand out holiday gifts to kids, give away decorated Christmas trees to families, and much more in the coming weeks.

Johnson and Wesley's Turkey Drive will be held at 602 NW Loop 410, Suite 144, 78216.

So make your way to the event and hand out an assist to the local community.
