SAN ANTONIO — A man was fatally shot by a security guard outside of a party hall on the city's northeast side early Sunday, according to San Antonio Police.
SAPD said the man was attending a party at a dance hall in the 4100 block of Naco Perrin Boulevard.
Around 5 a.m., he was asked to leave the party and got into a fight in the parking lot. As things escalated, more fights emerged inside and outside of the party.
According to SAPD, the man who was asked to leave the dance hall pulled a gun and began firing toward a security guard.
The security guard pulled his weapon and fatally shot the suspect.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
SAPD detained the security guard for questioning.
The investigation is ongoing.
