CALGARY, Alberta (WVEC) -- Investigators ruled out foul play in the death of a man whose body was inside the wall of a women's restroom at a mall.
The Calgary Police Service said mall workers were performing maintenance in the ladies' room on April 30. The workers removed a panel and found the man dead inside a wall.
Investigators said the man, who was in his 20s, entered the bathroom days earlier. They think he climbed on top of a wall behind the toilets that doesn't connect to the ceiling, took off a vent cover, and climbed inside the wall where he got stuck and died.
Police aren't sure why the man climbed into the wall.
