Young driver crashes into home across street from her own home

Police say the driver told them she made the turn too fast and ended up crashing into the home.

SAN ANTONIO — A young driver lost control of her car and crashed into the home across the street from her own home early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. on the 11900 block of Lake Parker on the far west side of town outside of Loop 1604.

Police say they believe the young girl made a turn too fast, causing her to lose control and crash into the garage of the home.

CPS Energy and Bexar County Fire officials inspected the home to clear it for safety, and said it was structurally sound.

No injuries were reported and no charges are pending.
