SAN ANTONIO — Tired of the same old routine for Valentine's Day? The San Antonio Zoo is offering a few experiences for those in love and looking for love, all in the name of fun and fundraising.
The zoo says it "is bringing even more rizz and claiming its rightful title as the Valentine's Capital of the World."
A one-of-a kind offering is available for those who are brave enough - poop-scented Hippo Love candles. Hippo poop, the zoo says, is the cologne of the hippo world and used to impress potential mates.
The ever-popular Cry Me a Cockroach Fundraiser is back. It's an experience allowing participants to name a roach after their exes as a snack for the zoo's animals. Visitors can also name a rat or a veggie after your ex, if the roach is not your style.
There's also a Meet Your Next Ex - Singles Event available offering speed dating, live entertainment and activities at Club Wild Thingz with DJ Mayhem. This year, the zoo has added a VIP lounge and speed dating hosted by The Dating Doc.
A Naughty by Nature - Zoo Tour, an adults-only adventure, is also available.
For couples, there's a Wild at Heart - dining experience set inside Africa Live!.
