Section of I-37 to close for six hours for repairs to sign damaged in rollover accident

Texas Department of Transportation officials say the rollover accident happened around 6 a.m. at I-37 near Fair Avenue.

SAN ANTONIO — All four lanes of I-37 will be closed for six hours while crews make repairs to a sign that was damaged during an accident early Thursday morning.

Texas Department of Transportation officials say the rollover accident happened around 6 a.m. at I-37 near Fair Avenue. A pole that holds up the highway sign was damaged.

Crews said around 12:30 p.m. that it would take another six hours to finish the repairs. Officials are urging drivers seek alternative routes.
