Man shot in what police say may have been road rage incident on south side

The victim couldn't provide much information and there are no witnesses at this time.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot in what police say may have been a road rage incident on the south side of San Antonio late Saturday night.

San Antonio Police responded to the Southeast Loop 410 Access Road at Roosevelt Avenue around 11:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

According to police, a man in his mid to late thirties pulled over at a Circle K to call for help after being shot somewhere on Southeast Loop 410 and Highway 37. The victim was shot once in the arm. 

Police are trying to determine if this was a road rage incident. The victim couldn't provide much information and there are no witnesses at this time. 

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police continue their investigation. 

No other injuries were reported. No information was provided on a suspect.
