Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire coming to San Antonio this summer

Richie announced he was extending his latest tour which will now include a San Antonio show in June.

SAN ANTONIO — Lionel Richie announced an extension of his latest tour including a San Antonio show this summer. 

Richie's Sing A Song All Night Long tour will feature one of the best-selling bands of all time Earth, Wind & Fire.

The tour will make an appearance at the Frost Bank Center on Tuesday, June 4.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at FrostBankCenter.com or on Ticketmaster.  

The 2024 shows kick off on May 23 at Knoxville and will feature stops in Jacksonville, Memphis, Kansas City, Columbus and many more. 

2023 was a big year for Richie who had sold out shows for the Sing A Song All Night Long tour - which was highly successful. Richie was also inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, was recognized at the Kennedy Center Honors and has served as a judge on 'American Idol," for the past six seasons. 

Earth, Wind & Fire has sold over 100 million albums world wide and has an impressive resume of nine GRAMMY awards. Most recently the group earned their 27th GRAMMY nomination for Best Traditional R&B Performance as a featured artist on Victoria Monet's song "Hollywood."
