SAN ANTONIO — Police say it was a vicious attack that left a woman on the ground bleeding from multiple stab wounds and now Crime Stoppers may offer up to $5,000 for clues that lead to a felony arrest.
The attack happened at 9400 Fredericksburg at the Vive Apartments.
Police said the calls for help started coming in a few minutes before 9 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 3.
Several people who heard a woman screaming for help called to say the woman was yelling that she was being stabbed.
The witnesses told police they didn't actually see the knife attack, but they did say they saw a thin-framed, light-skinned man with short dark hair run from the scene.
Police said the victim did manage to capture images of the man and his gold Lexus before the attack.
They say the man drove south on Fredericksburg Road to make his escape.
Police said the woman continues to recover from her injuries as they continue to look for the assailant.
