Children's Ballet of San Antonio presents Cinderella at the Majestic Theatre

The timeless story will come to life with a cast of roughly 200 and through a mix of classic ballet, aerial acrobatics, gymnastics and vocal performances.

SAN ANTONIO — The Children's Ballet of San Antonio is bringing a unique performance of the classic tale of Cinderella to the Majestic Theatre.

The timeless story will come to life through a mix of classic ballet, aerial acrobatics, gymnastics and vocal performances. Cinderella will get her trip to the ball to meet the prince with the help of her fairy godmother, dancing mice, pumpkins and dragonflies and despite her evil stepmother and stepsisters.

The talented cast includes roughly 200 Children's Ballet of San Antonio artists including elite rising star ballet students and trainees. Catch William Bessler, 19, and Sophia Leune, 17, who were both recently named finalists for the Joci Award, a performing arts scholarship in San Antonio. Inez Dunne, 11, won the Jury Encouragement award at the 2024 International Ballet Competition in recognition of her memorable performances. She and several other CBSA dancers recently placed in the finals for the prestigious Youth American Grand Prix as the only dancers chosen from San Antonio.

Cinderella at the Majestic Theatre

The cast will be joined by two of CBSA’s newest ballet masters, principal artists Aliaksandra Krukava and Nurlan Kinerbayev, both renowned dancers who have performed and toured with numerous companies throughout Europe and the United States.

You can also get the chance to meet and take pictures with some of the performers. At the performance, guests can take photos with the cast and even purchase tiaras, tutus, and fairy wands at the Cinderella market.
