New Braunfels Police investigating a group possibly involved in dozens of burglaries

New Braunfels Police have reason to believe, the men could be connected with thirty to forty burglaries across the San Antonio area.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Four people are now facing charges in connection to several New Braunfels burglaries back in January.

On January 4, both Papa Murphy's and Baskin Robbins were broken into overnight. Just two days later, on January 6, Pho Na and Crumbl Cookies were also burglarized.

"It's concerning that types of these types of situations happen," said Connor Tews, the owner of Crumbl Cookies. "And it's unfortunate."

Tews explained he was notified after the alleged suspects tripped his security alarm around 4:30a.m.

"There was more damage, I guess, as far as the cost in the window in the cabinetry, the safes, the RPO system, and then our cash drawer, than there was actually cash on premise,” Tews said.

New Braunfels Police have arrested Brian Parker, Tyrion Jones, Donovan Campbell and Jodeci Clayton. All of them are facing charges in engaging in organized criminal activity and burglary of a building for the four burglaries in New Braunfels.

Parker, Jones, and Campbell were already in jail for other burglaries when they were served with arrest warrants for New Braunfels. New Braunfels Police have reason to believe, the men could be connected with thirty to forty burglaries across the San Antonio area.

In a statement, the New Braunfels Police Department wrote:

The New Braunfels Police Department Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is actively working with several other agencies in the San Antonio metro area on the continued investigation into similar burglaries believed to be committed by this same group of individuals, so additional charges may be pending in various jurisdictions. Anyone with information regarding the involvement of these individuals in other crimes should contact their local law enforcement agency or contact Comal County Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $4,000 for information that leads to arrests and/or grand jury indictments. To remain anonymous and to collect the reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 830-620-TIPS (8477), leave a tip online, or send a tip using the “P3 Tips” smartphone app available on iOS and Android devices.

The investigation is still ongoing.
