SAN ANTONIO — A man allegedly shot a woman several times before turning the gun on himself Thursday night, according to Converse Police.
Authorities say a woman called for help just before 10 p.m. to a home on Cheyenne Bluff in Converse.
When officers arrived they found a woman lying on the front porch with multiple gunshot wounds. The woman was awake and was able to tell police what happened.
Officers say a man inside the home shot her several times before turning the gun on himself. Police believe the man tried to kill the woman after she ended their relationship.
The man and woman were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say if the man survives he will be charged with aggravated assault
