A man is accused of stabbing a woman to death, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
SAPD said Ivan Castro, 29, was arrested for murder after police responded to a call for a "cutting in progress" and found a woman with lacerations to her neck area.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was identified as 54-year-old Leticia Castro, and early reports from the scene indicated the victim was Castro's mother.
The incident happened at a home in the 2100 block of West Kings Highway Thursday night.
Castro is reportedly being held in $150,000 bond.
