SAPD: Man charged with shooting woman three times at northeast-side apartment complex

According to an arrest affidavit the woman was visiting a friend at an apartment complex on Northeast Loop 410.

SAN ANTONIO — A man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a woman at an apartment complex on the northeast side last Thursday, according to San Antonio Police.

Jesse Salazar, 28, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

According to an arrest affidavit the woman was visiting a friend at an apartment complex on Northeast Loop 410. 

Salazar knocked on the back door of the apartment and when the tenant opened the door Salazar showed his gun and fired the weapon multiple times - striking the woman three times, according to the affidavit. 

Police say the woman was shot three times and had to undergo multiple surgeries. 

Authorities say Salazar and the woman were acquaintances and had friends in common. 

His bond is set at $200,000
