SAN ANTONIO — Fiesta, San Antonio's biggest party is just around the corner but one of the biggest events is getting a major venue change in 2024.
Fiesta Fiesta, the kickoff event for the 11-day celebration will be held at the H-E-B Plaza at the Alamodome for the first time ever. Richard Sparr President of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission made the announcement at Fiesta Media Day on Tuesday.
Fiesta Fiesta will take place next to the Fiesta Carnival at the Alamodome parking lot on Thursday, April 18 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Admission to Fiesta Fiesta and the carnival will be free to the public.
Guests should expect big crowds, Fiesta royalty, various entertainers, the newest Fiesta medals and great food.
Fiesta Fiesta has been held in front of the Alamo, Hemisfair and Travis Park in previous years.
