Memorial Day weekend is here! And if you’re looking for ways to beat the heat and relax, the rivers of South Texas will be packed with tubers looking to cool down.
“Luckily we’ve got great weather this year. The water is running great. If you want to come out, come early because we do have big crowds on Memorial weekend,” one local official said. “In the City of New Braunfels we put a non-disposable container rules into effect because the trash was getting out of hand. We’re trying to cut back on the trash and trying to keep the river beautiful.”
