Saturday morning started off with passing thunderstorms of heavy rain and lightning.

DALLAS — Rounds of thunderstorms passed through the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex on Saturday morning, causing some problems for flights coming to the area's airports.

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) issued a ground stop from 9:54 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

The Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) issued a ground stop from 9:43 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The ground stop affects arrivals from other airports which had not already taken off when the ground stop was put in place.
