Bruce Bowen has confirmed to KENS 5 that he will allow LaMarcus Aldridge to wear the No. 12 silver and black jersey.
The Spurs asked Bowen if he would mind allowing Aldridge to continue wearing the jersey number that he has worn through his entire NBA career.
When asked by KENS 5 if he would mind the jersey, which has sat in the rafters of the AT&T Center since 2012, to become Aldridge's, Bowen responded, "Yeah, why not?"
If that isn't a quintessential Spurs move, then we don't know what is.
Moments after the confirmation, the Spurs announced via Twitter that Aldridge had officially signed with the Spurs.
