SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs fan closets are about to get bigger with new gear including an exclusive Devin Vassell clothing line.
EXCLUSIVE VASSELL GEAR
The Spurs have released an exclusive "We Hoopin" Vassell clothing line. It includes a varsity jacket stitched with "Unrecognized to Unforgettable" on the chest hoodies, shirts, shorts, pants, and more. It also features a "DV" logo reflecting his name.
There is a passcode that is needed to pre-order the items at the Spurs Fan Shop.
NEW FAN GEAR
The Spurs have released a new T-shirt celebrating the Year of the Dragon in conjunction with Hyperfly and NBALAB.
It features a fierce-looking Chinese dragon on a black shirt. The dragon is biting on a basketball with the Spurs logo on it.
It is available now at spursfanshop.com and is priced at $39.00.
Also, the team has released a new denim varsity jacket featuring the Silver and Black.
The "Varsity Blues" jacket is in a light blue-on-white colorway and features the state of Texas on the back and the team's main logo on the jacket chest. The price tag for the new jacket at $119.99.
The new line also features a Spurs crew neck, denim dad cap, and boxy Varsity Blues crew top in a cream or black color with various price points.
"SPURS WEEK" BEGINS
Mark your calendars, Spurs fans, as the team has announced "Spurs Week."
Spurs recently announced the schedule for Spurs Week, a week-long celebration tied to the I-35 Series in Austin.
There will be plenty of fun events leading up to the March 15 and 17 games at Austin's Moody Center, as part of the team’s vision to purposefully celebrate Spurs fans from Mexico to Austin and all points between.
Spurs are also releasing a limited-time “Me + 3” ticket offer for the I-35 Series games. Now through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, fans can access this offer by texting SPURSGAMES to 210-444-5050 while supplies last.
“With Spurs Week, we have the opportunity to engage and embrace our Austin fans in all of their favorite spaces across the city, meeting at the intersections of sports, food, music, culture and community,” said Brandon James, Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth & Deputy General Counsel at Spurs Sports & Entertainment. “The Spurs are proud to be Austin’s team, and we believe in the power of bringing our presence off the court and into the city all week long to create lasting memories with new and lifelong fans alike.”

Fans can also hand the Spurs an assist at a free community concert at Austin's Lady Bird Lake. Fans can help raise $100,000 for PlayATX and Austin Parks Foundation by participating in the on-site raffle on Thursday, March 14 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The great news is that this event is free entry for all ages and includes live music, games, photo ops, and free swag.
