The San Antonio Spurs, once again, competed as long and as hard as they could against the defending champion Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of their opening round series.
It wasn’t enough as the Spurs lost 110-97. The Spurs are now down 3-0 in their best-of-seven series.
But the players and fans showed heart playing under difficult circumstances without head coach Gregg Popovich on the sidelines as he mourns the death of his wife, whom he lost the previous day.
