Five things to watch: Spurs vs. Grizzlies

Can the Spurs pick up a home win over the Grizzlies?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (15-54) will host the Dallas Mavericks (23-47). San Antonio is 1-4 in their last five games.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a home loss versus the Mavericks, 113-107.

Victor Wembanyama scored 12 points and 11 rebounds. Devin Vassell scored 19 points in the loss, and Keldon Johnson scored 14. Jeremy Sochan chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Tre Jones had 22 points and nine assists.

"We out-rebounded them. We shot better than they did. We out-scored them in the third quarter and out-scored them in the fourth quarter. We had the same number of assists. Basically, they get one more than we did but we had 16 turnovers. That's a difference in the game," said Gregg Popovich. "I couldn't be more proud of the way we played. We had made all kinds of mistakes, but so did they (Dallas) and they want to win a championship. Our goal is to get better every game individually and team-wise."
