SAN ANTONIO — A 23-year-old woman says a man's infatuation has become her fear. The victim said the suspect threatened to sexually assault her then put her in body bag.

A woman told San Antonio Police that Roberto Diaz is causing fear for her life. The 23-year-old victim believes after numerous calls to SAPD and a protective order, the 54-year-old suspect isn't getting the message.

He was arrested Tuesday on a charge of stalking. An arrest affidavit says the victim met Diaz three years ago and he started telling other she was his girlfriend. The woman told police she has never been intimate with the suspect but Diaz believe she's his possession.

The arrest document shows the victim filed a report with police on October 16th about harrassing and repeat phone calls from Diaz. Then, on November 19 the woman said she got 324 voicemails from Diaz threatening to sexually assault her and put the woman in a body bag. On the same day, the woman claims he came to her home and started banging on her door. She called SAPD but they did not find Diaz.

On November 20th, the victim said the suspect left multiple voicemails while she was at work. He reportedly continued to threaten and harass the woman.

Police said Diaz had prior convictions for family violence and violation of a protection order. He's in the Bexar County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond for the stalking charge.
