SAN ANTONIO — A dog has died after his owner shoots the dog for biting him on the south side Wednesday, according to Animal Care Services (ACS).
The incident happened at the 1400 block of Vermont around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
According to ACS, the dog's owner says he decided to shoot the dog after biting him twice when he tried to swat some flies away from the dog's food.
The dog has died and no citations for the owner have been reported.
The dog's owner was sent to a local hospital for minor injuries.
