SAN ANTONIO - The hottest, or "coolest," ticket in town just might be to one of Honeysuckle Teatime's milkshake pop-up events. The business creates elaborate milkshakes piled high with other sweet treats.
Owner Sara Lauren Hinojosa said Honeysuckle has been operating as a catering business for about a year and hosting milkshake pop-ups since Oct. 2016.
“We’re kind of exclusive. We don’t have a location or anywhere that we work out of, so we work with other places that are having events. Basically, we bring our entire setup to different places in San Antonio," she said.
Sara Lauren also operates the business with her sister, Olivia Hinojosa.
Honeysuckle announces times and ticket information for pop-ups on Instagram. The events often sell out.
"We usually announce it a week before where we will be. On our newsletter, we’ll send you a calendar of where we’re going to be and a ticket link," Hinojosa said.

Honeysuckle hand-makes its syrups and toppings, including small cupcakes.
"It’s just a super fun, kind of unique culinary experience that we are trying to create. It’s an interesting and fun way to think about food. We really encourage people to come and try it out," Hinojosa said.
