SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: Coffee said his wife is back home now, but she has a long way to go to get back to normal. They are working to schedule surgery after speaking to an orthopedic doctor.
"This all happened so fast - you just never know. I’m asking everyone to take time to love your family, tell them that you love them and be kind to one other," he wrote on Facebook in the latest update to his original post.
Hall of Fame rodeo clown Leon Coffee is asking for prayers for his wife, according to his Facebook page.
In a post, the 65-year-old said his wife Terri had an accident involving a horse. She is in the hospital with a head injury following the incident.
Coffee added, "I know how all the prayers that was sent for me worked and I beg you to do the same for the woman I love."
