Wrong-way driver is facing multiple charges after crash kills one woman, SAPD says

A 25-year-old man is now facing multiple charges including DWI and intoxication assault.

SAN ANTONIO — According to San Antonio Police, a wrong-way driver is now facing multiple charges after he caused a head-on crash killing one woman and leaving another person fighting for their life.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday off Interstate 35 and Interstate 10.

Police say the driver was going the wrong way and slammed into another vehicle where a woman died at the scene and left a passenger in critical condition. 

A 25-year-old man is now facing multiple charges including DWI and intoxication assault.
