Scarlett Johansson to star as woman who took down 13 members of Aryan Brotherhood of Texas in true-crime thriller, report says

Johansson will depict Carol Blevins, an FBI informant who infiltrated a neo-Nazi gang known as the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, and helped convict 13 members.

TEXAS, USA — Oscar-nominated actress and Marvel series star, Scarlet Johansson, is set to depict the lead of a true-crime thriller film based on the true story of a woman who helped the FBI convict 13 members of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, according to a report by Deadline.

Johansson is set to portray Carol Blevins, a heroin addict and “Aryan Princess featherwood” (property of a gang member) who became one of the FBI’s most important informants during an epic, six-year investigation into the gang, Deadline reported.

The film, entitled "Featherwood," is inspired by a seven-part, award-winning 2017 Dallas Morning News article by Pulitzer Prize finalist Scott Farwell called "My Aryan Princess: A place in the family." Farwell's piece details Blevins' experience living within the white supremacist, neo-Nazi street gang.

Johansson will also serve as a producer for the film, according to Deadline's report. The script for "Featherwood," according to Deadline, will be written by Ned Benson, who is a writer-director of upcoming movie "The Greatest Hits," and a writer on Marvel’s "Black Widow."
