SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County Commissioners voted to give three businesses significant tax breaks today.
Schuepbach Properties is spending $55 million to build a 294-unit multi-family development on South Flores.
In exchange, the county is providing a 40 percent tax reduction or abatement for 10 years.
Ernst and Young, a professional services firm, plans to make $5 million in capital investments and create 300 new jobs in exchange for a 100 percent tax reduction for six years.
And USAA is getting a 75 percent tax abatement for 10 years for expanding its downtown location with a parking garage expansion.
