Freezing temperatures expected tonight in Central Texas

Brace for temperatures to drop on Sunday as the Northern Hill Country will see the worst of the arctic blast.

A cold front slammed Central Texas on Saturday night. Freezing temperatures are expected in San Antonio Sunday night into Monday morning.

Temperatures in the 30s and 40s are expected to last through the beginning of next week.

Parts of the Hill Country could experience some light winter precipitation.

The areas affected include part of Kerr, Llano, Burnet, Gillespie, and Blanco Counties.

They say that temperatures will turn much colder with a possible freeze with chances of freezing drizzle and light rain, meaning that you should be careful if you’re driving around in the Northern Hill Country on Sunday.

The National Weather Service says that the advisory starts at 3 a.m. and goes until 6 p.m.
