Ultimate guide to March Madness Music Festival in San Antonio

Headliners include Maroon 5 and Imagine Dragons!

San Antonio — The free March Madness Music Festival will feature headliners Jason Aldean, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, and a list of other Top 40 performers.

The free, three-day music event will take place Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 1 at Hemisfair Park.

  • Friday, March 30: AT&T Block Party (4 - 10 p.m.)
    • 4:00 pm - Doors
    • 6:45 pm - Kelsea Ballerini
    • 8:30 pm - Jason Aldean
  • Saturday, March 31: Coca-Cola Music (2 - 10 p.m.)
    • 2:00 pm - Doors
    • 2:30 pm - Luis Fonsi
    • 3:35 pm - Cold War Kids
    • 5:00 pm - Watch Party: Semifinals Game 1
    • 7:15 pm - Imagine Dragons
  • Sunday, April 1: Capital One JamFest (3 - 10 p.m.)
    • 3:00 pm - Doors
    • 3:45 pm - Daya
    • 5:00 pm - Panic! At The Disco
    • 6:30 pm - OneRepublic
    • 8:30 pm - Maroon 5

You don't need tickets or wristbands for the free event. Entry is based on first-come, first-serve basis until capacity is reached.

The event is open to all ages.

Parking is available throughout downtown in lots and garages. There will be no official event parking around Hemisfair. For parking information, click here.

As for public transportation, officials say:

VIA will offer Park & Ride service to and from downtown from three Park & Ride locations for $2.50 each way (with discounts for children, seniors, students and active-duty military).

Daily service with extended hours is available for a $ 2.75-day pass or $1.30 for a single ride.

Organizers suggest coming early, as large crowds are expected.

Only clear bags and small purses (5.5 inches by 8.5 inches or smaller) are allowed into all Final Four events including the March Madness Music Festival.

Concealed or open carried guns are not allowed at any official Final Four events.
