SAN ANTONIO - It's now been more than two months since Michele Boyd went missing. Boyd's family is seeing a glimmer of hope in the case Monday, after someone believes they may have spotted her.

A co-worker reported possibly seeing Boyd in the area of the Medical Center Sunday night wearing jeans and a dark hoodie, which was covering her head. The co-worker said the woman looked a lot like Boyd, with short, curly, red hair and a face that resembled hers.

Boyd worked for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System and often picked up shifts in the Medical Center.

She has been missing since Thanksgiving Day 2016. Her car was found Thanksgiving night, on the east side of town at the intersection of WW White and Rigsby roads.

Boyd's brother, Joe Roode, said this possible sighting gives him hope.

"We have to believe that she's out there alive and well somewhere, and it's hard to believe that she would be so close without hearing from her. I hope it's her," said Roode.

Boyd has a fair complexion, is 5'6" and weighs 115 lbs. She has green eyes and short and curly red hair. She also has a vine tattoo on her left ankle.

If you have any information on her whereabouts or you think you may have seen her, you are encouraged to contact police.
