SAN ANTONIO — Lake Dunlap is expected to drain later this afternoon, according to a representative with the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority.
The GRBA experienced a spillgate failure at the lake just before 8 a.m. this morning.
While the peak river flow has subsided, stakeholders and recreationalists downstream are advised to exercise extreme caution as water flows will remain brisk.
The future of Lake Dunlap remains uncertain, officials said.
