Attorney for man who operated Andreia Hall event space speaks
Hector Perez had a hearing on a theft case Monday, but did not show up to court because he was ill. Perez is accused of booking events at the hall, accepting payments and then canceling contracts at the last minute. His attorney, Arnulfo Ortiz, says some of the cancellations were out of his client's hands. He says in one instance, the hall had a flooding issue.
