San Antonio legend Leonardo “Flaco” Jimenez will join the lineup for the Celebrate 300 New Year's Eve celebration.

The celebration kicks of a year of events to commemorate the city's Tricentennial.

Jimenez is a five-time Grammy Award winner and is the most recent addition to the New Year's Eve concert lineup. He was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2015 Grammys and has had a long career both as a solo artist and member of the Texas Tornados and Los Super Seven.

Jimenez will be joined on stage for a few songs by fellow San Antonio musician, Little Joe.

“The combination of these tejano and conjunto music powerhouses, Flaco and Little Joe, is an incredible addition to this family-friendly celebration that has been 300 years in the making,” said Carlos Contreras, interim executive director for the Tricentennial Commission.
