It was a mostly sunny, warm afternoon across South Texas in the wake of a Pacific front moving through around midmorning. It delivered a thin line of showers, even brief heavy downpours, depositing about a tenth of an inch or two.
This front was brought through by the powerful upper level low that has been responsible for all the West Texas and Oklahoma severe weather.
As this low moves east, high pressure will be moving west from the Gulf of Mexico. This delivers a new weather pattern for us through Memorial Day weekend.
Expect dry conditions, expect windy southeast winds for the next several days. Highs should remain around 90, humidity will be high off those southeast winds.
