SAN ANTONIO — A cool and windy, but sunny, Thursday is on the horizon, with wind gusts could approach 40 mph early in the afternoon, according to Meteorologist Paul Mireles.
A wind advisory is in effect for the San Antonio metro as a result.
Counties to the south and west of the Alamo City could see stronger winds; as a result, a Fire Weather Warning has been issued for those areas.
Rain chances are low for the evening and early morning hours on Thursday. However, a few stray showers are possible, along with a slight chance of snow flurries in the northern Hill Country. No accumulation is expected.
Friday will also be a windy day before a pleasant weekend arrives.
