After a hot day Tuesday, we've got plenty more heat to come, according to Meteorologist Jeremy Baker.

Tuesday night, we will see partly cloudy skies, with only a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm in our extreme western counties. Lows will drop into the middle and upper 70s.

Wednesday will see mostly sunny skies and more heat with highs in the upper 90s. Thursday will be the hottest day of the week with a high forecast of 101, and feels like temperatures around 105-107.

We will cool slightly Friday with a high in the upper 90s and an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the forecast. Temperatures lower into the middle 90s for highs this weekend and into the first part of next week. Lows will stay mainly in the middle to upper 70s.

For now, Jeremy is adding slight rain chances into the forecast for Sunday and Monday, but if the current weather pattern sticks around a little longer, the chance of rain would take a hike.
