High pressure is taking over for most of the country, and Texas is no exception. We'll see high humidity continue to cause high heat indices. We’ll also get a high UV index, so don’t forget sunscreen if you’ll be outside for more than a few minutes!
Tonight into tomorrow, partly cloudy skies are forecast with lows tonight in the middle to upper 70s, and highs Wednesday in the middle to upper 90s.
Little change is expected through the weekend. We should avoid reaching a 100 degree temperature reading, but it will feel hot - just short of the criteria for a heat advisory.
High pressure will continue to bring us mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, with the only chance for rain towards the coast, and even then it will be isolated.
Highs will stay in the middle to upper 90s with lows in the middle to upper 70s.
Our next chance for rain arrives in the middle of next week.
